The American multinational investment bank and financial services company Goldman Sachs told investors that Samsung’s new foldable screen phone will pose challenges for Apple’s iPhone. Goldman Sachs analyst said in a report that the shape of the Galaxy Fold is amazing, Samsung has achieved the foldable OLED technology. They also mentioned that “If this shape stimulates consumer interest, we expect Samsung to delay Apple’s acquisition of this technology. This is a potential problem that Apple faces this year.”
Samsung has just released the Galaxy Fold with a clever design and hefty specifications. The phone is conveniently placed in the hands of users like a traditional mobile phone, or extended to the size of a tablet to watch a video. Samsung also did some tweaks to the Android software to match the ethics of the phone and give flawless experience at the same time.
The Samsung Galaxy Fold is the first foldable screen smartphone ready for consumer release. The phone is available to consumers from April 26th. The price of the phone is $1980 which is considered on the higher side.
Samsung’s release of this new phone is also at a time when consumers and mobile phone manufacturers are looking for innovative features. Growing smartphone companies like Huawei will soon release its Foldable phone at MWC 2019. The industry, on the other hand, believes that the foldable screen is the next innovative development trend of smartphones.
