Huawei’s Growth – Samsung and Apple’s Concern??
Huawei’s consumer business CEO Yu Chengdong announced in January about the total shipments of Huawei’s mobile phones in 2018 were about 206 million units. Huawei’s share increased to a new high of 12% due to the record sales of the high-end mobile phones in the price range of more than 600 US dollars.
In 2018 Huawei’s growth reached about 34% compared to the 2017 annual report of 153 million units of shipment data. This is a great achievement in a global environment where smartphone competition is intensifying as more and more brands are joining day by day and making it more and tough to sustain in the business.
The latest news reveals Huawei has set the target of 250 million units in 2019, which is about 21% annual growth. Further, in 2020, the company will be targeting for 300 million units.
