MWC 2019- World’s Biggest Smartphone Show: What to Expect and What to Not??

Samsung is all set for the S10 lineup launch on 20th Feb before the Mobile World Congress- worlds greatest fair of Smartphones and Technology which is all set to start from 24th February. Samsung will come up with its long waiting beast device Galaxy S10 with S10 plus and S10 lite. As per the sources and ongoing leaks the galaxy S10 line up may have a punch hole infinity o display with and in screen fingerprint sensor.
The Galaxy S10+ screen may be a 6.7-inch super AMOLED curved screen. There will also be a focus mainly on the number of cameras the device will feature. Also, the new set of true wireless earbuds will be featured in this event. The Galaxy Flex is also on the cards, let’s wait and watch what more Samsung has to offer at the Unpacked Galaxy Event.
LG G8 has lost focus on promoting and marketing there Smartphones lately. They have a lineup of devices which are underrated due to late release and also less focus on promoting their devices especially there V and G series.
After the G7
The news is that LG might also showcase its V series phone the V50. This phone is allegedly a 5G phone and will be LG’s premium device and prices may go up to G8 phone. Well the V series usually is not launched this time of the year but we never know what’s on the cards from LG. I am curious to see.
Though Sony’s smartphones were not popular last year, the company will be in the business not for numbers and sales but keep more focused on the technical front likes changes in mobile technology in the future. As the company not only manufactures phones but also supplies various components to the big smartphone companies. The camera sensors are quite popular in their list.
Sony Xperia Z4 is surely on the cards for MWC 2019. The phone will be using a 21:9 FHD+ resolution ultra-narrow ‘fish-style screen’ with a powerful processor no other that QUALCOMM Snapdragon 855 chip which also beats the Apples A12 bionic chip as per the leaks and renders. It will also have a 6GB RAM and a 64GB/256GB ROM. The battery size is expected to be a massive 3900mAh. Rest of the phone will have some minor upgrades over last year’s XZ3. The phone will also feature a super wide angle lens. The other big change may be a triple camera rear setup with a 52MP sensor. I am more interested to see will the phone shines with its camera or is it just good on the paper.
We are waiting for the Huawei P30 line up but it may or may not be the MWC. As per the leaks, there may be the event in Paris on 28th March where the company will unleash its beast. The phones are P30, P30 Pro and P30 Pro 5G version which might be launched only in the European region. Based on the leaks and renders there will be a water drop notch on the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro. Like Mate 20 Max we might have a large screen version of Huawei P30. Unlike Mate 20 Pro the P30 Pro will support 40W super fast charging technology with some tweaks to make it faster. It will also be a big OLED screen of 6.5 inches with a smaller form factor. On the other hand, P30 will come in a 6.1 inch OLED display and will support a 22.5w fast charging option. Both the phones will retain the 3.5mm headphone jack.
In MWC Huawei might feature its long-awaited foldable phone and their 5G technology. This can be seen on the invite they share for the MWC event, Connecting the Future what is mentioned and also shows a side profile of the foldable phone.
OnePlus has rolled out its MWC19 invites with Reimagine the future with OnePlus, which confirms that no new phone will be launched in this event. As the company grew over it has some presence in the event. Tough they might have some plans to reveal some ideas about the 5G inclusion in their phone or maybe a OnePlus 5G prototype device. In reality, the OnePlus 7 may also be released with their 5G technology later this year. They also have been talking about OnePlus TV and this might be a good event to finally showcase it.
Nokia 9 Pureview will finally be released in MWC 19 and it will be the high-end premium phones from NOKIA which will compete with the flagships from Apple, Huawei, and Samsung. As per the leaks, the phone will be equipped with the Carl Zeiss Penta Camera technology. This is the flagship phone and also it will have some powerful features to make a place in the high-end flagship phone market. The Nokia 9 Pureview will have a 5.9 inch OLED display with QuadHD+ resolution. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with 6 and 8 GB RAM and 128 GB+ memory storage. The battery is expected to be a 4150mAh capacity with fast charge support. It will also feature an in screen fingerprint scanner. It is the most talked phone and we have to see that if it the rebirth of Nokia or just a gimmick.
